UNCW Pathways to Excellence

Thank you for your interest in the Pathways to Excellence program! Please complete the form below to signify your intent to participate in the Pathways to Excellence program. We encourage students to submit their intent form during their first semester at the partner community college. However, intent forms can be submitted at any time as long as you are still enrolled at the partner community college.

Upon completion, you will receive a copy via the email addresses provided. You will begin to receive regular communication from your Transfer Student Success Coordinator to ensure you are on track to transfer to UNCW.

Letter of Intent

I hereby declare that I plan to pursue the UNCW Pathways to Excellence program. I understand that this intent form is non-binding and I am not required to apply to transfer to UNCW. I understand that guaranteed admission to UNCW through the Pathways to Excellence program is contingent on my meeting each of these responsibilities:

I will maintain contact with my community college advisor and Transfer Student Success Coordinator to develop and maintain a plan for successfully transferring to UNCW.
I will complete a transferrable Associate's degree (AA/AS/AE) and prerequisites to matriculate to UNCW as referenced in the agreement.
I will become familiar with all admissions and degree requirements for UNCW, including minimum grades and a cumulative 2.5 GPA, as listed in the agreement.
In the semester prior to the completion of my Associate's degree, I will submit my application for transfer admission by the application priority deadline as well as all official transcripts needed for my application.
