 Veronica Tapia Email: tapiav@uncw.edu | About Veronica:Veronica Tapia is the founding Program Director for UNCW College Advising Corps. Veronica is from Greensboro, NC and is a first-generation college graduate as well as the daughter of an immigrant. She holds two bachelor’s degrees from NC State University as well as a master’s degree from Texas State University. Veronica uses her experience as a former college adviser with the NC State College Advising Corps to lead and expand the UNCW CAC program. Veronica is passionate about extending equitable education opportunities to underserved communities. She enjoys witnessing the long-term impact her college advisers have in their school communities and the growth they in turn experience as professionals and mentors.
