 Jacob Ferguson | About Jacob:Jacob Ferguson is a second-year adviser at West Craven High School in Vanceboro, NC. He is from Lenoir, NC, and is a first-generation college graduate. Jacob graduated with degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from UNC Wilmington in 2021. What drew Jacob to the opportunity to serve was his desire to be in the profession of helping others and assisting future generations to get to where they want to go. Throughout Jacob’s service, he has learned how far he has come as a professional. What Jacob enjoys about his role as a college adviser is interacting with students and helping them through similar mistakes he made when he was in high school. He enjoys seeing his growth as a person and the growth of his students and families in real-time. | |
